Bachelor or Master Thesis
If you are interested in writing your final thesis at our institute, you can proceed in two different ways: you can either propose a topic in the fields of corporate development, advertisement or marketing in cooperation with a company. Therefore, please send an exposé (max. 1 page) together with the completed form, your CV and an actual transcript of records to email@example.com. If a company is involved, our general cooperation policies apply, which can be send to the respective company if needed. The policies have to be signed by the company’s representative of the undertaking and the responsible supervisor at the institute. We reserve the right to decide about the acceptance of such external topics.
Furthermore, you can apply for a thesis in the subjects outlined below. The exact research question will be set during a meeting with the respective supervisor at our institute. If you would like to take on such a thesis at the IMM, please send the completed form, your CV and an actual transcript of records to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will come back to you as soon as we will have examined and coordinated your application internally. Please note that you will have to write an exposé (max. 1 page) before your final registration. This can take up to 4 weeks. We therefore suggest that Bachelor candidates apply 4-6 weeks and Master candidates 6-8 weeks before their intended starting date.
During the thesis process, all students participate in our IMM-colloquium, which takes place every second week on Wednesday evening. Any student presents his work once during the course of completion in a 10 to 15 minutes speech. We expect all candidates for theses at our institute to participate in this seminar and strive for high quality and deliberate discussions in a friendly atmosphere.

Please note, that the guidelines should only provide you with a general overview of the process of reviewing literature and is therefore only ONE possible approach. Notwithstanding the journal ranking, the identified papers should be examined critically, before they are used for the thesis.
